CRISIS Foster care

Everyone experiences hard times in life. Are you or someone you care about currently experiencing a hardship (such as being evicted, experiencing domestic violence, needing hospitalization) and need a temporary place for your pet to stay?

Contact MACC's Safety Net Coordinator at 615-862-4017 or PetHelp.MACC@nashville.gov for more information on MACC's temporary foster partner, Pawster. Pawster has a network of volunteers who can temporarily foster your pet, so that you do not have to surrender your pet to a shelter, and you'll be reunited once you are back on your feet.

Are you a first-time pet owner? Or have you had pets all your life and have some questions about your current pet? MACC is here to help provide guidance! Call 615-862-4017 or email PetHelp.MACC@nashville.gov for more information.

Friends of MACC strives to amplify MACC's impact by supporting lifesaving initiatives and engaging the community to prevent pet homelessness in Davidson County.
