Adopting a pet is a big commitment. And some situations don't accommodate being a full-time pet owner. Being a foster is an awesome way to save lives! Here are MACC's three exciting foster opportunities:
KITTEN FOSTERS

Kittens are pure happiness and love! And during the busy spring and summer months, or what we call “purr-icane season,” there’s always a need for kitten fosters! Kittens need about 2 to 4 weeks in foster to grow big enough for the adoption floor! You just need a bathroom or space for a pop-up crate to keep your kittens cozy. All medical care is provided through MACC.

DOG FOSTERS

Got room to host a pup for a few weeks? Then join our awesome dog foster community. MACC's unique foster program connects foster families with shelter animals, allowing pets to thrive in loving homes while they wait to find their forever family. All you provide is a place to crash and lots of love, and MACC provides the rest, from supplies to medical care to adoption support.

BOW WOW BREAKOUTS

Want to take a pup on a hike? Host a pup for a sleepover at your place? Then Bow Wow Breakouts are the perfect option. This short-term foster opportunity gives dogs a break from the shelter, from a few hours to a few days! Bow Wow Breakouts help the shelter learn more about the pet's personality so they can be better matched to a new home.
